Hypopressives/Low Pressure Fitness
Low Pressure Fitness (LPF) is a training system aimed at postural and breathing reeducation. Hypopressive maneuvers and rhythmic breathing is at the centre of this system, which also utilizes myofacial and neurodynamic techniques to decrease body tension. LPF is a global approach using specific postures combined with an 'apnea' (false inhale) to promote a synergistic contraction of the deep core muscles. Over time this can improve the competency of the core muscles and promote pelvic floor health. |
